Gaillardia varieties, also known as Blanket Flowers are a popular Spring-Summer flower variety, as the plants flower continuously in a range of bright colours, without the need for de-heading. Gaillardia Rembrandt Double Mix is a super large double flowering variety of Blanket Flower, with flowers in the brightest shades of cream, yellow, orange, purple and the highly sought after red flowers. This popular cultivar is often grown as a cut-flower due to its long (~40cm+) upright stems. Gaillardia Rembrandt Double Mix requires very little maintenance, is reasonably drought tolerant and generally flowers from Spring right through to Autumn, making it a popular choice for the warmer months through to about Mother's day in Australia (May).
